Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Manager with construction experience, based in New Cairo. The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement processes, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely project support. The role involves collaborating with project management teams to assess procurement needs and developing strategies to ensure consistent supply chain operations. The Purchasing Manager will also be responsible for monitoring inventory, compliance with quality standards, and optimizing purchasing performance.
Qualifications
Experience in procurement and sourcing strategies specific to construction materials and equipment. Proven ability in supplier negotiation, contract management, and relationship building. Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and cost control strategies. Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control processes. Proficiency in relevant software and tools to manage procurement and inventory systems. Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in construction or project management procurement is highly advantageous.
