Job Summary
We are seeking a Traffic Engineer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience to lead traffic studies, planning, and design initiatives across complex urban and infrastructure projects. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate data into actionable, compliant traffic solutions.
Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), Traffic Impact Assessments (TIA), and Mobility Studies. Develop and review traffic models, simulations, and forecasts using industry-standard tools. Design and assess road networks, intersections, junction improvements, and traffic management plans. Coordinate with urban planners, highway engineers, authorities, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and approvals. Review traffic layouts and access strategies for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and infrastructure projects. Ensure compliance with local and international traffic standards, regulations, and codes. Support project teams during concept, detailed design, and implementation phases. Provide technical input for tender documentation, reports, and client presentations. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Requirements & Qualifications
8–10 years of proven experience as a Traffic Engineer within consultancy or large-scale infrastructure environments. Demonstrated experience working on urban development, highways, and transport infrastructure projects. Strong command of traffic analysis and modeling software (e.g. VISSIM, SIDRA, Synchro, AIMSUN, VISUM or equivalent). Solid understanding of traffic flow theory, capacity analysis, signal design, and road safety audits. Experience dealing with authorities and regulatory approvals is mandatory.
