  • Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies in alignment with hospital needs and budget.
  • Ensure the timely procurement of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumables, and general supplies.
  • Identify, assess, and maintain relationships with qualified suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
  • Coordinate with various departments (pharmacy, nursing, maintenance, finance, etc.) to forecast and fulfil supply needs.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Review and approve purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and hospital-specific regulations in purchasing processes.
  • Track supplier performance (quality, delivery times, service) and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Prepare reports and purchasing metrics for senior management.
