Job Details

  • The F&B and Coffee Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the outlet(s). This includes monitoring daily sales, managing vendor relationships, calculating the "Cost of Goods Sold" (COGS), and ensuring that the physical stock matches the digital records in the POS system.
    Key Responsibilities
    1. Cost Control & Inventory Management
  •  Perform weekly and monthly physical stock counts (coffee beans, syrups, dairy, kitchen ingredients).
  •  Analyze theoretical vs. actual usage to identify wastage, theft, or over-portioning.
  •  Monitor recipe costing to ensure menu items are priced for profitability.
  •  Track "waste logs" (e.g., spilled milk or expired pastries) and report financial impact.
    2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
  •  Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for the branch or brand.
  •  Analyze daily sales reports from the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  •  Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like Average Transaction Value (ATV) and Labor Cost Percentage.
    3. Accounts Payable & Procurement
  •  Verify invoices against delivery notes to ensure the business only pays for what it receives.
  •  Manage payments to coffee roasters, dairy suppliers, and equipment maintenance vendors.
  •  Negotiate with suppliers to secure better credit terms or volume discounts.
    4. Cash & Compliance
  •  Reconcile daily cash drops and credit card settlements.
  •  Ensure VAT/Tax compliance on all food and beverage sales.
  •  Audit petty cash spent on emergency supplies.
