Job Details

  • Run outpatient OB/GYN clinics: assessment, diagnosis, treatment plans, follow-up, and documentation.
  • Provide antenatal care (risk stratification, screening, counseling), postpartum follow-up, and family planning counseling within clinical guidelines.
  • Manage deliveries and obstetric emergencies according to departmental rota and hospital clinical pathways; perform C-sections when indicated within approved privileges.
  • Provide inpatient consultations and coordinate multidisciplinary management (anesthesia, neonatology/NICU, ICU, radiology, lab).
  • Ensure safe prescribing and adherence to medication safety, infection prevention, and documentation standards.
  • Perform gynecologic procedures within granted privileges (e.g., hysteroscopy, D&C, minor gynecologic procedures)
  •  Participate in clinical governance: morbidity & mortality reviews, incident reporting, CAPA actions, guideline updates, and audit readiness.
  • Support patient experience through clear counseling, informed consent, and culturally sensitive communication, ensuring privacy and dignity.
  • Mentor junior doctors/residents and collaborate with nursing leadership to maintain safe workflow and coverage.
