Role Overview
The Sales Account Manager represents world-class espresso equipment to leading cafés, roasteries, hotels, and hospitality groups. This role goes beyond selling machines — it is about building long-term partnerships, understanding a client’s coffee vision, and delivering solutions that elevate quality, consistency, and brand identity.
You will act as a trusted advisor to specialty coffee professionals, guiding them through equipment selection, workflow design, and long-term growth while upholding the standards of a premium brand like La Marzocco.
Key Responsibilities
- Premium Account Management
- Build and maintain deep relationships with specialty cafés, roasters, and hospitality groups
- Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts with a focus on long-term partnership, not one-off sales
- Identify opportunities for upgrades, additional locations, grinders, customization, and service agreements
- Lead thoughtful discovery conversations around coffee quality, volume, workflow, and brand positioning
- Conduct professional equipment demonstrations and tastings
- Design tailored equipment solutions aligned with each customer’s concept and growth plans
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and equipment specifications
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with technical, service, and logistics teams to ensure flawless installations
- Act as the bridge between customer expectations and internal execution
- Follow through from the first conversation to post-installation satisfaction
- Represent the brand with professionalism, confidence, and deep product knowledge
- Educate customers on craftsmanship, technology, and design philosophy
- Attend industry events, coffee competitions, and community gatherings
- Sales Planning & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
- Track pipeline and performance against targets
- Provide market feedback on trends, competitors, and customer needs
