The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, identifying variances, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions and ensure fiscal discipline across all departments.
Key Responsibilities: -
1. Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Assist in the development and consolidation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Collaborate with department heads to align operational plans with financial targets.
- Maintain and update financial models to reflect business changes.
2. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports (P&L, variance analysis, cash flow).
- Monitor actual spend vs. budget and investigate significant variances.
- Present findings to management with clear explanations and recommendations.
3. Business Partnership & Advisory
- Act as a financial advisor to department managers, providing data-driven guidance.
- Support decision-making through scenario analysis, ROI calculations, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure financial accountability.
4. Process Improvement & Systems
- Develop and automate financial reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Recommend improvements to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems.

Skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years and above of hands-on experience in financial analysis or FP&A.
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Professional certification (e.g., CMA, FMVA).
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
- Background in manufacturing, retail, or FMCG sectors.
- Age preference: under 40 years old.
