Job Purpose :Leading merchant growth, activation, and retention across all product lines through data-driven acquisition and engagement strategies, ensuring a balanced supply–demand ecosystem while delivering ROI-positive programs that support business objectives.
Job Responsibilities : Segmenting merchants base per line of business, field, and size to tailor acquisition, incentives, and engagement strategies to different merchant profiles. ✓ Designing campaigns to recruit new merchants to expand the merchant network and increase platform coverage across categories. Running targeted marketing (digital, events, referral programs) to attract high-quality merchants through the most effective and cost-efficient channels. Optimizing the funnel from sign-up → onboarding → first transaction to reduce drop-off and accelerate merchant activation and revenue generation. Keeping existing merchants active and satisfied to maximize merchant lifetime value and ensure consistent transaction volume. Sending communications (emails, SMS, in-app messages) to keep merchants informed, engaged, and motivated to use new features and incentives. Running loyalty / recognition programs to reward top-performing merchants and encourage long-term loyalty and performance. Working with operations and analytics on incentive structures to drive desired merchant behaviors while aligning incentives with business goals. ✓ Balancing spending vs. return on investment for promotions to ensure promotional budgets generate measurable and sustainable growth. Understanding merchant needs, challenges, and motivations to design relevant solutions that improve merchant engagement and performance. Collecting feedback and shaping product/operations to continuously improve the merchant experience and reduce operational friction. Partnering ops, product, CVM, marcom, and demand marketing teams to align merchant supply strategies with customer demand and growth plans. Ensuring sufficient active merchants during demand peaks to maintain service availability, customer satisfaction, and category performance.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance or any related filed 6-8 years of experience in merchant growth, partnerships, or commercial roles, preferably in fintech or marketplaces. Proven experience in merchant acquisition, activation, and retention.
