Job Summary
Experienced Technical Office Manager with 5 years of expertise in the furniture manufacturing industry, specializing in kitchen and dressing room projects. Proven ability to manage technical teams, oversee shop drawings, coordinate with production and installation departments, and ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the technical office team (draftsmen and engineers).
- Prepare, review, and approve shop drawings for kitchens, wardrobes, and custom furniture.
- Coordinate between sales, production, procurement, and site installation teams to ensure technical accuracy.
- Review project specifications, BOQs, and contracts to ensure full technical compliance.
- Ensure all designs meet client requirements, company standards, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Develop and standardize technical drawings, detailing methods, and material specifications.
- Resolve technical issues during production and installation stages.
- Support cost optimization through efficient design solutions and material selection.
- Monitor project timelines and provide technical input to meet delivery schedules.
- Conduct technical meetings with clients, consultants, and internal departments when required.
- Ensure proper documentation, version control, and archiving of all technical files.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of kitchen systems, wardrobes, fittings, accessories, and hardware
- Expert in AutoCAD (2D detailed shop drawings)
- Good understanding of CNC manufacturing processes and production workflows
- Solid knowledge of materials (MDF, plywood, laminates, veneers, HPL, accessories)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings
