We are seeking a Senior Tendering & Budgeting Engineer to join our team and support the preparation, analysis, and submission of competitive tenders for construction projects. The role involves full responsibility for cost estimation, BOQs, tender documentation, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and profitable project pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Study tender documents, drawings, and contractual conditions to assess project requirements
- Analyze materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor costs, and overheads
- Coordinate with technical, procurement, and planning teams to ensure accurate pricing
- Prepare tender submissions, financial proposals, and supporting documents
- Review subcontractors’ and suppliers’ quotations and perform comparative analysis
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential project risks
- Support contract negotiations and post-tender clarifications when required
- Maintain cost databases and historical records for future tenders
- Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and project timelines
