Job Role / Objective overview:The primary objective of this role is to support the implementation and monitoring of the organization’s cybersecurity framework. The officer will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, assisting in incident response, and ensuring that all departmental activities comply with internal security policies and international standards such as ISO 27001 or GDPR".
Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive security assessments and IT audits to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks specific to the Company infrastructure, systems, and applications. Conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.implementing and configuring security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-malware solutions, SIEM, PAM, and data encryption mechanisms. Monitor and analyze security incidents, investigate security breaches, Identify, and solve potential and actual security problems. Deliver cybersecurity awareness training sessions and workshops to educate the company employees about security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, developers, Data, and system admins, to integrate security controls and measures across the IT infrastructure. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress to the management and stakeholders. Deep knowledge of Implementing cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices, including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS , and PDPL Controls. Experience in the areas of SOC, Security Incident, and Event and Log Managementexperience in cloud security architecture like AWS and Azure. It is a plus if having experience doing web application penetration testing

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security or related field is required Experience: 1-3 years of experience in security technologies, operations and compliances.
Functional Knowledge:Advanced certifications in Cybersecurity (e.g. CC, CISA, CEH, Security+) is preferred
