Job Summary
The Service Advisor acts as the main point of contact between customers and the service department. The role involves understanding customer concerns, recommending appropriate services, and ensuring a smooth, professional service experience from vehicle drop-off to delivery.
Key Responsibilities Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs. Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service requests. Advise customers on required maintenance, repairs, and service packages. Prepare job cards, cost estimates, and service timelines. Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair. Follow up with customers on service progress and updates. Ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally. Promote additional services when appropriate. Maintain accurate service records and system updates.
Requirements & Skills Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role. Strong communication and customer service skills. Good knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customers. Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency in service management systems and MS Office.
Working Environment Automotive dealership or authorized service center. Fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Work Experience:Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership or service center.
