About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join us and build scalable, secure, and high-performing backend services. You’ll work closely with our product manager and frontend engineers to design and deliver APIs and systems that power our web and mobile apps.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and modern frameworks.
Own critical parts of the system architecture and ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate with frontend engineers, product manager to deliver new features.
Implement best practices for testing, monitoring, CI/CD, and deployment.
Work with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront, etc.) in a serverless environment.
Optimize data flows, API performance, and system security.

Requirements

+3 years of backend engineering experience with Node.js and serverless architectures.
Solid experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway).
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and system design.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring tools.
Good knowledge of security best practices for backend development.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and ownership/leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
