About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Architect to ensure the efficiency, security, and operational excellence of Office IT services. This role involves evaluating service performance, driving continual improvement, managing backend infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices. You will act as a technical representative in key forums, support service go-live activities, and optimise business reporting processes.




What you’ll do

  • Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution to enhance satisfaction and productivity.

  • Drive service improvement plans and monitor backend server health.

  • Ensure service availability and performance targets are met.

  • Manage incidents and service requests within SLA, including crisis management.

  • Oversee configuration, deployment, and change management processes across environments.

  • Maintain compliance with ITIL processes and KPIs.

  • Provide technical expertise during service feasibility and ramp-up phases.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver professional communication.

  • Support knowledge transfer and empower first-line support teams.

  • Manage operational budgets and forecast new service investments.



Who you are

  • Education: BSc in Engineering or Computer Science.

  • Experience: 8–10 years in IT support, with strong expertise in Microsoft systems and cloud technologies (VMware, ESXi, Vcenter, Vsphere, Azure, O365).

  • Technical Skills: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Windows Servers, storage systems, configuration management, automated deployment, and IT security compliance.

  • Core Competencies: Strategic thinking, leadership, professional communication, and troubleshooting.

  • Willingness to work according to German calendar, participate in on-call schedules, and travel internationally if required.
