Mission
JOB PURPOSE:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for translating communication briefs into compelling visual solutions, from initial concept
to final execution. This includes developing impactful visual design, typography, and branding for essential communication
channels, including stations passenger information, campaigns, social media, and continuous website updates.
Profile
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
• Visually conceptualize and develop all necessary communication materials for various platforms
• Maintain and update the company website in collaboration with other teams.
• Create impactful designs to support the Marketing team's initiatives.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and develop initial design concepts and mock-ups.
• Collaborate closely with the Sr Graphic Designer to produce strategic and innovative creative concepts for marketing
programs.
• Design promotional displays, packaging, marketing brochures, and web layouts.
• Develop and produce layouts for advertisements across various media, including magazines, newspapers, corporate
reports, social media, websites, and applications.
• Partner with the Sr Graphic Designer/Communications Manager on creative ideas for significant growth initiatives.
• Research, develop, and produce graphic materials that align with organizational goals.
• Perform comprehensive editing of audio/video materials including the creation/refinement of animated videos
• Manage journal advertisement resizing and create ads based on specific journal requirements.
• Distribute graphics, photos, and images as requested by internal or external stakeholders.
• Oversee and negotiate with external designers when additional support is needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Strong understanding of printing techniques, including offset and digital (with knowledge of press sheets).
• Proficiency in both PC and Mac environments, with expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite 6 or higher and Microsoft
Office 2007 or higher.
• Fundamental knowledge of photography techniques and the ability to guide professional photographers to capture
BPV products.
• Basic understanding of web and internet design and production.
• Excellent written and editing skills in both Arabic and English.
KNOWLEDGE:
• Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently, even under tight deadlines, high volume, and competing demands.
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
EXPERIENCE:
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar graphic design role.
