- Oversee end-to-end clearance for imports (air, sea, road).
- Validate and submit customs declarations, invoices, bills of lading, etc., ensuring accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to customs laws, tariffs, duty exemptions, and trade agreements
- Calculate and arrange payment for duties/taxes; manage refund claims.
- Resolve complex clearance issues, audits, inspections, and border stops.
- Prepare cost reports, release plans, and other necessary documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, duties, and prohibited/restricted goods.
- Issue the requested import approvals form different ministries.
- Familiar with Cargo x System & Nafeza.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years and up to 5 years of hands-on experience in customs clearance or a similar logistics function.In-depth knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations, import/export procedures, and documentation requirements.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
