Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our engineering team for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, analysis, and review of structural systems, ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:Lead structural design activities for substations, power plants, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects. Perform structural analysis and detailed design of steel, concrete, and composite structures. Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with international codes (ACI, AISC, Eurocode, BS, etc.) and client requirements. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, mechanical, and project management). Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers. Support tendering, proposals, and project execution with structural expertise. Conduct site visits, inspections, and resolve design-related issues during construction.
Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in structural design, with at least 5 years in energy/power projects. Strong knowledge of international design standards and structural analysis software (STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, Tekla, etc.). Proven track record in the design of substations, power plants, or industrial facilities. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer certification is an advantage.
