With an established presence in the UAE and planned expansion into Egypt, we support leading developers, contractors, and investors on complex, high-value projects across the region. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer (Claims) with solid experience to join our team remotely from Egypt, with the opportunity to transition into a key on-ground role once our Egypt office is launched. Role Overview The Senior Planning Engineer (Claims) will play a vital role in planning, scheduling, and claims management across major construction and real estate projects. This role requires deep expertise in construction claims, delay and disruption analysis, and forensic planning, with strong commercial awareness to support dispute resolution and project outcomes. This position is suited for experienced professionals with 8 to 15 years of relevant experience who can operate independently and contribute at a senior level. Key Responsibilities Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and progress monitoring reports. Perform delay and disruption analyses to support claims and dispute resolution cases. Prepare and manage Extension of Time (EoT) submissions and claims documentation in line with contract requirements and industry standards. Provide technical planning support to dispute resolution teams through data-driven analysis and evidence. Coordinate with project managers, commercial teams, legal advisors, and clients to align timelines and claims strategies. Prepare forensic planning reports and contribute to expert witness documentation when required. Ensure planning and claims activities comply with UAE regulations, FIDIC contracts, and international construction standards. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.8–15 years of proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and claims management within the construction or real estate sectors. Strong hands-on expertise in Primavera P6 and other project control tools. Demonstrated experience in claims preparation and delay analysis techniques (Time Impact Analysis, As-Planned vs As-Built, Window Analysis, etc.). Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts and international contract frameworks. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English (Arabic is a strong advantage). Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote and cross-border teams. Working Conditions Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMDays Off: Friday + 2 Saturdays per month Work Model: Remote from Egypt until the Egypt office is established
