Our client is a long-established market player (over 80 years in operation) specializing in firefighting, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and representing top international UL/FM-approved brands. The company supports major projects across Egypt by supplying valves, fittings, piping solutions, and providing full technical and commercial support to consultants, contractors, and project owners.
Position: Sales Engineer – Fire Fighting Systems Location: Downtown Cairo
Job Summary:We are seeking a proactive Sales Engineer – Fire Fighting Systems to join our client’s growing team. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication and sales skills to promote high-quality mechanical and firefighting products—valves, pipes, fittings, and UL/FM-certified systems—to consultants, contractors, and key project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:Promote and sell a full range of firefighting system products (fire pumps, sprinklers, deluge & control valves, alarm check valves, valves, fittings, and carbon steel/seamless pipes). Identify and develop new business opportunities within the firefighting and MEP sectors. Conduct regular visits to consultants, contractors, and project sites to follow up on projects and strengthen relationships. Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations and proposals. Prepare BOQs, quotations, technical submittals, and compliance sheets. Follow up on tenders, submitted offers, and ongoing projects from design stage to installation. Coordinate with the technical office, operations, and finance on submittals, documentation, pricing, and delivery. Negotiate prices and contractual terms in line with company policies. Provide accurate market feedback on competitors, pricing, and upcoming projects. Ensure that offered products and solutions comply with NFPA, UL, and FM standards.
Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Up to 5 years of total experience, including at least 1 year specifically in Fire Fighting Systems (not just general MEP). Solid technical knowledge of valves, pipes, fittings, fire pumps, sprinklers, and UL/FM-certified systems. Familiarity with NFPA codes and firefighting standards. Proven experience dealing with consultants, contractors, and/or system integrators. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Arabic. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client visits.
