Job Summary:
The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. This includes configuring network hardware, ensuring network security, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement functional network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
- Configure and install network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Manage and resolve network-related incidents and service requests through the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up, clear communication, and documentation.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot network issues, outages, and performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, topologies, and procedures.
- Work with cloud-based technologies, particularly VMware.
- Configure, and maintain telephony systems, including PBX and VoIP.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
