Egy Bell is hiring a Sales Manager for a leading manufacturer and global supplier of measuring and control, inspection, analysis, and sorting technologies.
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Sales Manager to lead Sales growth and market expansion across Middle East and Africa for our polymer machinery industry portfolio. The role focuses on promoting new machinery solutions, managing key accounts and driving revamps, retrofits and upgrades for long standing customers. The ideal candidate will possess industry connections, particularly with major polymer producers and other regional petrochemicals and plastic processors and have a strong technical understanding of downstream industry of compounding, master batches, direct extrusions and others.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, develop and execute regional sales strategies to promote new technology across the defined region. Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities with all polymer producers, compounders and film manufacturers. Cold calling and Visit customers / accounts to promote our products for business development and for customer acquisition. Build strong relationship with decision makers, technical teams and procurement departments within target accounts. Manage and grow relationship with existing customers using our machines, focusing on revamps, modernization, capacity expansions and for technology upgrades and retrofits. Proactively engage installed base customers to identify improvements opportunities and long-term value creation. Act as primary point of contact for strategic accounts in the region. Monitors market trends, competitor activity within polymer manufacturing sector. RRepresent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences and customers meetings. Coordinate closely with COE engineering, service and project teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Reliable and regular reporting, such as weekly, monthly reporting, visits planning, forecasts and the regions / territory analysis.
Required Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Polymer, Chemical, Mechanical) or a related field, MBA is an advantage. Experience of sales and business development experience in the related industry. Fluent in English, Arabic or other ex-pats language is a plus. Comfortable with frequent travel across MEA. Driver license is a must. Demonstrated success in selling capital equipment, machinery upgrades and revamp projects. Strong self-motivated, entrepreneurial and proactive personality. Excellent communication, negotiation and relation-ship building. Soft skills like Microsoft office, CRM’s Proactive and independent work in an international team
