Job Purpose
The Events, Activities & Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and promoting a dynamic calendar of events, activities, and public programs at Azbakia Park. The role aims to enhance visitor experience, increase footfall and revenues, and strengthen the park’s public presence through effective on-ground programming and digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Activities Management
- Plan, develop, and manage a yearly and seasonal calendar of events, activities, and public programs.
- Coordinate cultural, recreational, educational, and family-oriented activities.
- Liaise with performers, artists, vendors, instructors, sponsors, and partners.
- Oversee on-site event execution including logistics, setup, operations, and visitor flow.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, park rules, and authority requirements.
Digital Marketing & Promotion
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to promote events and park offerings.
- Manage social media platforms, website content, and email campaigns.
- Coordinate creation of promotional content including visuals and videos.
- Monitor digital performance metrics and optimize campaigns accordingly.
Visitor Engagement & Experience
- Enhance visitor engagement through creative programming.
- Collect visitor feedback and analyze attendance trends.
- Support initiatives targeting families, youth, tourists, and local communities.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with park management, operations, security, and maintenance teams.
- Prepare activity plans, budgets, schedules, and post-event reports.
- Manage allocated budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.
- Report on performance, attendance, engagement, and revenue impact.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Tourism, or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in events management or digital marketing.
- Experience working in public spaces, parks, or cultural venues is preferred.
