Summary/Objective
- The function of this position is to manage the execution and coordination of Construction projects in Coordination with Construction Manager and/or Salesperson/Account Manager.
- This position will be responsible for developing and presenting creative, solution-based workshop execution plans for the team/customer in the areas of space planning, drafting/CAD if needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
- Managing assigned construction projects.
- Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales.
- Overseeing building work.
- Undertaking surveys. -
- Setting out sites and organizing facilities to Ensure Compliance & making sure that project work stays compliant with industry standards, specifications, building codes, and design instructions. - Supervising contracted staff. -
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager. -
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site. -
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork. -
- Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials. -
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to. -
- Create drawings in AutoCAD and/or Revit of workshop drawings & execution if needed (typical, furniture plans, 3D’s)
