Quality Engineer (Food & Beverage)

Role Objective
The Quality Engineer will design, implement, and bridge the gap between production and safety standards. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the production process, from raw material inspection to the finished product, ensuring every item is safe for human consumption and consistent in quality.

 

Key Responsibilities
1. Food Safety & Compliance (HACCP). 
2. Ensure the facility remains compliant with global standards.
3. Conduct regular internal audits.
4. Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor variables like pH levels, viscosity, temperature, and moisture content.
5. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any product recalls, consumer complaints.
6. Supplier & Material Quality
Evaluate and audit raw material suppliers to ensure ingredients meet company specifications.
7. Manage the "Hold and Release" program for non-conforming materials or finished goods.
8. Train production staff on Sensory Analysis (taste, smell, texture) and hygiene protocols (GMP - Good Manufacturing Practices).
