Technical Office Manager

  • Manage and supervise the Technical Office team (Engineers, Draftsmen, QS).
  • Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and standards.
  • Provide technical solutions and value engineering proposals when required.
  • Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning, Procurement, and Contracts departments.
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on technical matters.
  • Support site teams with technical clarifications and design coordination.
  • Quantity & Cost Control Support
  • Oversee quantity take-offs and BOQs for variations and claims.
  • Support the Contracts/QS team with technical data for interim payments and variations.
  • Assist in evaluating subcontractor technical submissions.
  • Planning & Documentation
  • Coordinate with the Planning Engineer to ensure constructability and sequencing.
  • Maintain proper control of technical documents, revisions, and approvals.
  • Ensure timely submission and approval of all technical documents.
  • Quality & Risk Management
  • Ensure all technical activities comply with quality standards and project requirements.
  • Identify technical risks and propose mitigation measures.
  • Participate in technical audits and project reviews.
