Quality Tissue Mill Engineer

Quality Engineer is a critical technical role responsible for ensuring that all tissue products meet or exceed established quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

will drive continuous improvement in product quality, process stability, root cause investigation.

  • Develop, review, and update test protocols for raw materials (pulp, chemicals, additives), in-process materials, and JR finished goods.
  • Manage customer specifications, ensuring they are accurately communicated and implemented across the production process.
  • monitor key tissue making parameters (e.g., basis weight, caliper, tensile strength, absorbency, softness, CD profile).
  • Analyze production data from the reel and packaging processes to identify trends and potential deviations.
  • Define and implement process control limits and reaction plans to prevent non-conforming product.
  • Validate and calibrate quality testing equipment (e.g., tensile testers, calliper gauges, moisture meters, softness testers).
