Regional Sales Manager – Europe & South America

  • The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading sales operations, managing distributors and agents, and driving business growth across Europe and South America. The role requires strong leadership, international market expertise, and the ability to build long-term strategic relationships with key accounts. In addition, the position involves oversight of export documentation and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Direct and manage the sales efforts of distributors and agents within the assigned territories.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities, conduct sales calls, and actively grow the customer base.
  • Initiate and follow up on sample and technical requests, ensuring timely communication of results.
  • Focus on customer retention and satisfaction, maintaining strong professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop and execute territory sales planning, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage pricing and contracts for direct, indirect, and distribution accounts.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned with annual sales targets and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct quarterly business review meetings with distributors and key customers, developing mutual action plans.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer events worldwide.
  • Contribute to product development by capturing customer needs and defining the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with logistics, customer service, and R&D teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of customer concerns.
  • Streamline order processes to improve customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work closely with technical peers, laboratory teams, and product development to align customer feedback with product enhancements.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to sales teams to ensure achievement of annual targets.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure company objectives and customer concerns are addressed.
  • Monitor actual sales performance against goals, implementing corrective action plans where necessary.
  • Submit timely visit reports, sales reports, and other required documentation.

Market Insights & Strategy

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities and operational challenges.
  • Track competitor activities regionally and internationally, producing action plans to remain competitive.
  • Assist marketing by providing customer insights and competitive market intelligence.
  • Develop marketing action plans to support organizational growth and revenue objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.Minimum of 10–15 years of international sales experience (direct and/or distributor management)( Product groups : Wetting and dispersing additives, Surface additives ,Rheology additives ,Defoamers and air release additives ,Adhesion promoters and coupling agents ,Processing additives ,Viscosity reducers, Wax additives)Proven track record of achieving sales goals and expanding business in new or underdeveloped territories.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in English is mandatory.French language proficiency is an asset.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for business-related activities.Strong leadership competencies, including: Self-Leadership: Trusted, adaptable, and clear communicator.Team Leadership: Collaborative, supportive, and able to inspire team success.Business Leadership: Goal-oriented, strategic planner, and decisive executor.Strategic Leadership: Visionary, anticipates opportunities, and effectively communicates ideas across all organizational levels. Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary package Private health insurance and social security coverage.Opportunities for career growth within a global organization.
