Lead Architecture

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the architectural engineering team that align with the company’s overall objectives and client requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance design quality and efficiency.
  • Provide advanced architectural engineering expertise, ensuring all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. 
  • Lead the review and evaluation of architectural designs, specifications, and plans to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility. 
  • Offer innovative solutions to complex architectural engineering problems and provide guidance on integrating architectural and engineering principles.
  • Oversee the development of advanced architectural engineering designs that integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. 
  • Ensure designs are functional, sustainable, and meet client requirements. 
  • Use advanced design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create detailed architectural engineering plans and oversee the work of the architectural engineering team.
  • Review and interpret building codes, regulations, and standards to ensure project designs meet all legal and safety requirements.
  • Develop and implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards. 
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of project designs to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  •  Work closely with the engineering design team, architectural design team, and other internal stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery. 
  • Coordinate with suppliers and technical advisors to obtain necessary information, materials, and support for project execution. 
  • Arrange and facilitate meetings for the design team with suppliers and technical advisors to discuss project requirements and technical details. 
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project team members.
  • Prepare advanced technical reports, documentation, and presentations to support project planning and decision – making.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored appropriately. 
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, technical issues, and compliance matters. 
  • Prepare and review minutes of meetings for clients and technical team meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for technical improvement and innovation in project designs and processes. 
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance project quality and efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide junior and senior architectural engineers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Identify training and development needs within the team and provide opportunities for professional growth. 
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
