Tendering & Estimation:
- Review and analyze project tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities (BOQs), to understand project requirements.
- Ability to count and verify systems and layouts from CAD Drawings.
- Prepare accurate and competitive technical and financial proposals for fire alarm systems. This includes material costing, labour estimation, and generating detailed BOQs.
- Perform after completing training system buildings on system build software.
- Coordinate with suppliers to get up-to-date pricing for fire alarm equipment.
- Develop technical submittals, data sheets, and compliance statements to meet tender specifications.
Technical Office & Design:
- Create and review shop drawings and as-built drawings for fire alarm systems using AutoCAD.
- Develop and modify system design layouts, cable routing, and equipment locations based on project requirements and relevant codes (e.g., NFPA 72).
- Prepare technical reports, material approval requests (MARs), and other project-related documentation.
- Provide technical support to the project team during the installation and commissioning phases.
Project Support:
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss project progress and resolve technical issues (If any).
- Ensure all designs and proposals comply with local and international fire safety codes and standards.
- Maintain a detailed record of project documentation, including revisions and approvals.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.Minimum 6-8 years of proven experience as a Tendering or Technical Office Engineer, specifically in Fire Alarm Systems.Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Knowledge of other design software is a plus.Strong understanding of NFPA 72 and other international fire safety standards.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
