Supervision & Team Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff (storekeepers, forklift drivers, etc.).
- Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and support.
Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of goods in an organized and timely manner.
- Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all warehouse transactions.
- Monitor picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet delivery deadlines.
Inventory Control:
- Ensure accurate inventory levels and stock movements.
- Assist in cycle counts, monthly, and annual physical inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Health, Safety & Cleanliness:
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of goods, especially hazardous materials if applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times.
Equipment & Maintenance:
- Monitor the use and condition of warehouse equipment (forklifts, hand stacker, ..)
Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, logistics, and other departments to align warehouse activities with company goals.
