The Non‑Food Category Procurement Manager plays a key leadership role in building and executing the sourcing strategy for all non-food categories (detergents, home care, hygiene, diapers, paper, etc.) on the B2B platform.
The role ensures a competitive, reliable, and high‑quality supply base to serve retailers, cafés, and business partners across Egypt.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategy for all non‑food subcategories.
- Conduct market analysis to track pricing trends & competitor movement.
- Segment the category and create tailored sourcing plans per segment.
- Build and manage a strong supplier network (manufacturers & local producers).
- Lead the full supplier lifecycle: identification → onboarding → performance.
- Negotiate contracts (pricing, payment terms, delivery, quality).
- Implement cost‑saving initiatives and track total cost of ownership.
- Develop transparent pricing structures that support margins and partner value.
- Manage procurement budgets & forecasting with Finance.
- Establish long‑term relationships with key suppliers.
- Implement and monitor supplier performance KPIs.
- Resolve supplier issues with minimal supply chain disruption.
- Coordinate with logistics and fulfillment for seamless inbound operations.
- Provide accurate demand forecasts to avoid stockouts.
- Optimize inventory levels and improve turnover.
- Use data for assortment, pricing, and promotions decisions.
- Drive digital transformation in procurement processes.
