DevOps Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience to lead CI/CD, cloud automation, and Kubernetes orchestration. The ideal candidate will play a key leadership role in driving scalability, automation, and operational excellence while being accountable for defining, tracking, and achieving DevOps team KPIs in a high-performance environment.
 

Responsibilities:

Lead and architect DevOps strategies for SaaS, client-based, and enterprise-level projects with high SLAs.

Own and manage DevOps team KPIs, including deployment frequency, system availability, incident response time, and automation coverage.

Oversee the design and implementation of Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes for seamless application deployments.

Ensure high availability, disaster recovery (DR) readiness, and security compliance across cloud environments.

Manage Kubernetes (K8s) environments, including multi-cluster architecture and Helm/Kustomize deployments.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and ARM templates.

Enhance monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and ELK Stack.

Implement networking and cloud security best practices for cloud and hybrid architectures.

Collaborate with development, QA, and management teams to continuously improve delivery speed and reliability.
 

Certifications (Preferred):

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
 

Essential Skills:

Cloud Platforms: Azure (Primary), OVH / AWS / GCP (Secondary)

Automation & IaC: Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates

CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD

Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Spark

Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, Docker, Harbor

Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor, Uptime

Networking & Security: VNet, NSGs, Firewalls, VPN, Identity & Access Management

Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python
 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience in the IT industry.
