- Monitor job requests through the EFI/Graphics system, identify job types (new, modification, costing), and assign tasks to graphic designers.
- Ensure digital file quality and colour accuracy, providing feedback to sales and clients.
- Manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure schedules are met, adjusting for peak workloads.
- Coordinate with planning, quality, and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead, support, and develop the prepress/graphics team, promoting skill development.
- Conduct periodic reviews comparing digital files with final printed outputs.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and company information.
- Ensure operators follow updated procedures and prepress best practices.
- Record and address non-conformances, providing corrective feedback.
- Train graphic artists on relevant software applications.
- Ensure availability of required raw materials and strategic stock.
- Promote a “Right First Time” mindset for new products.
- Liaise with printing suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective materials.
- Meet clients when needed to understand project scope.
- Maintain strong attention to detail, accuracy, and effective organizational skills.
Must be a graduate of BS in Printing Engineering, or in DesigningWith at least (5) years of experience in Prepress work in a similar industry.Well versed and experienced in Artios CAD, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, with Windows and Mac OS machine working knowledgeMust have a good technical understanding of flexographic and offset print processesMust be independent and hardworking.Must know how to deal with and motivate people.
