1. Design Management
- Oversee the preparation and coordination of all architectural, structural, and MEP designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, authority regulations, and client expectations.
- Lead design review meetings with consultants, clients, and authorities.
- Review and approve final design packages and shop drawings prior to submission.
2. Technical Supervision
- Supervise the development of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
- Ensure full integration between structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
- Review and validate technical submittals, materials, and equipment.
- Provide value-engineering proposals to enhance cost and time efficiency.
3. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, planning, and QA/QC departments.
- Act as the primary technical liaison with consultants, clients, and local authorities.
- Ensure timely submission of drawings and documents to all relevant parties.
- Participate in technical and coordination meetings to resolve design or site issues.
4. Permits & Authority Approvals
- Oversee preparation and follow-up of documents required for authority approvals (DM, DCD, Trakhees, etc.).
- Ensure all submissions comply with applicable codes and authority requirements.
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage the design and technical office team (architects, draftsmen, BIM specialists, coordinators).
- Assign tasks, monitor daily performance, and provide technical direction.
- Conduct internal quality reviews for all deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain proper documentation, archiving, and control of all technical office files and drawings.
- Prepare progress reports related to design submissions and authority approvals.
- Identify potential risks and escalate issues with practical solutions.
7. Cost & Time Optimization
- Recommend cost-effective technical alternatives while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure technical outputs are aligned with project schedules and procurement requirements.
