POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Director is a senior leadership position responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth across our commercial, administrative, and residential real estate portfolios. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven expertise in real estate marketing who can lead our marketing function, build brand equity, and deliver measurable results in occupancy rates, brand awareness, and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will combine deep real estate industry knowledge with modern marketing expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with sales, leasing, and operations teams to achieve organizational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Execution (40%)
- Develop and implement comprehensive annual marketing plans aligned with business objectives and revenue targets
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new property launches and existing portfolio promotion
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies
- Identify new market opportunities and segments for business expansion
- Establish marketing KPIs, track performance metrics, and deliver regular reports to executive management
- Allocate marketing budget strategically across channels to maximize ROI
- Lead rebranding initiatives and brand positioning strategies as needed
Brand Management & Communications (25%)
- Oversee all aspects of brand development, management, and protection
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, materials, and communications
- Develop compelling brand narratives that differentiate our properties in the market
- Manage corporate communications, public relations, and media relations
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers
- Handle crisis communications and reputation management
- Oversee production of marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, signage, and promotional materials
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation (20%)
- Lead digital marketing strategy including website, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising
- Oversee social media presence across all platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Implement marketing automation and CRM systems to nurture leads and track customer journeys
- Optimize conversion funnels and improve lead quality and quantity
- Analyze digital analytics and adjust strategies based on performance data
- Manage relationships with digital agencies, vendors, and technology platforms
- Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices
Team Leadership & Development (10%)
- Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team
- Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and results-oriented team culture
- Delegate responsibilities effectively and empower team members
- Identify training and development needs to build team capabilities
- Manage external agencies, consultants, and contractors
Stakeholder Management & Partnerships (5%)
- Collaborate closely with sales and leasing teams to support revenue generation
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with brokers, agents, and channel partners
- Develop co-marketing programs with corporate clients and partners
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence in all marketing activities
- Partner with property management teams to enhance tenant satisfaction and
retention.
