The Production Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day production operations inside the plant. The role focuses on planning production, managing the shifts, ensuring product quality, reducing waste, and supporting the Plant Manager in achieving overall factory targets.
- Organize, plan, and follow up on daily production schedules across all shifts.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance for any issues affecting production.
- Follow up on raw material usage during production and control waste levels.
- Ensure operators are following work instructions, quality requirements, and safety rules.
- Solve production problems on the spot and report major issues to the Plant Manager.
- Train line leaders and operators on new processes or machines when needed.
- Ensure finished products meet customer specifications before handing them over to the warehouse
- Prepare daily production reports including output, downtime causes, and material consumption.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any relevant field.7–10 years of experience.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shifts.Familiarity with production reports and basic ERP systems is preferred
