Key Responsibilities

Pre-Execution Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve job pre-planning documentation including scope, SOPs, Method Statements, materials quality, tools, and subcontractor qualifications.
  • Confirm the completion for the PTW, audits of risk assessments, safety permits, and training records in coordination with QHSE.
  • Issue formal "Ready for Execution" approval ensuring all quality and safety standards are met before work commencement.
  • Define and maintain quality standards, procedures, and checklists for all HS operations.
  • Confirm availability and suitability of all materials, tools, and equipment required for job execution.
  • Assess and confirm that all assigned personnel are qualified, with up-to-date training records meeting competence requirements.
  • Confirm on the Sub-contractor performance documentation, calibration certificate and validation for his qualification.

 

Execution and Post-Execution Responsibilities:

  • Perform random and scheduled quality audits of ongoing and completed jobs using standardized checklists.
  • Review quality checklists completed by the technical team and subcontractors for accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze defect reports and non-conformance documentation; lead root cause investigations.
  • Monitor implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for process, training, and standard improvements.
  • Prepare and present quality audit reports and performance summaries to management.
  • Provide formal “Ready for Execution” approval only after all job readiness criteria are met.
  • Audit completed job records, review completed quality checklists, and confirm compliance documentation aligns with standards.
  • Analyze defect reports, non-conformance findings, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by the technical and operational teams.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations and recommend necessary process improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure complete QA documentation is prepared and archived before work order closure, supporting traceability and future reviews.

 

Continuous Improvement and Compliance:

  • Participate in the development and refinement of quality standards, procedures, and checklists.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams including Technical, QHSE, and Project Management to embed quality culture.
  • Maintain documentation for quality audits, inspections, and corrective actions ensuring traceability and compliance with ISO or relevant standards.

Required Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in quality assurance within maintenance, construction, or facilities management.Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001 & ISO45001).Familiarity with HS technical operations, subcontractor management, and QHSE practices.Proficient in audit methods, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and maintain objectivity in audits.
