Responsibilities
Translate requirements into clear Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases (Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, UAT).
Execute manual testing on Web & Mobile; validate edge cases, negative paths, and accessibility basics.
Test APIs with Postman/Newman (variables, environments, scripted assertions); maintain living API test suites.
Log high-quality bug reports (steps to reproduce, expected vs actual, severity/priority, screenshots/logs) and drive defect lifecycle to closure.
Build and maintain Smoke/Regression suites; participate in release gates (DoR/DoD).
Contribute to test automation for repeatable flows (Cypress or Selenium) following POM and solid locator strategy.
Run basic performance checks (JMeter/Locust) and interpret key metrics (throughput/latency/errors).
Collaborate daily with Product/Engineering/Design, challenge assumptions, and surface risk early.
Track quality KPIs: test coverage, escaped defects, MTTR, flaky tests rate.
