Job Description
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented senior planning & control engineer to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, monitoring progress, performing quantity surveying, and preparing cost and variance reports to ensure project success.
Job Description:
- Perform quantity surveying for variation items, ensuring accurate data for cost estimation, quantities, and scheduling.
- Develop and maintain realistic project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Coordinate with project teams and conduct regular site visits to collect progress data and identify potential delays.
- Prepare periodic progress reports covering time, cost, and resource updates, including charts, layouts, and histograms.
- Track actual progress and quantities throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with baseline plans.
- Generate and analyze schedule and cost variance reports using Earned Value Management (EVM) to support corrective actions and project decision-making.
- Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs
- Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad hoc.
- Help management make important decisions based on costs and benefits (e.g. investments, market growth, pricing changes)
- Create and manage budgets, and monitor spending
- Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions
- Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs
- Estimate product costs for existing and new products
- Forecast and analyze costs of processes, labor and inventory
- Suggest cost-reducing or profitable solutions
- Conduct market research to support future business planning
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or Construction Management.Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and cost control.Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.Proficiency in Primavera P6, Civil 3D, Excel, and PowerPoint.Fluent in English.
