- Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and technically capable Rockwell Coordinator to support the implementation and integration of Rockwell Automation systems across our company and factory operations. - This includes coordinating the deployment of Rockwell PLCs (Allen-Bradley), FactoryTalk SCADA, MES, HMI systems, and all automation-related workflows.
- The ideal candidate will act as the link between internal teams, external integrators, automation engineers, and Rockwell implementation partners, ensuring timely delivery, accurate configuration, smooth commissioning, and proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Coordination
- Coordinate all Rockwell Automation implementation activities across factory departments.
Work closely with automation consultants, integrators, and Rockwell support teams during setup, testing, commissioning, and go-live. - Monitor project milestones, timelines, deliverables, and report progress to management.
- Ensure all automation systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI, MES) follow factory requirements and operational workflows.
Technical & Process Support
- Assist in preparing and validating process data, wiring diagrams, IO lists, and system configuration inputs.
- Support PLC/HMI logic review and ensure alignment with operational needs.
- Organize and perform FAT/SAT coordination with vendors.
- Assist in troubleshooting automation-related issues during installation and after go-live.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain all Rockwell system documentation, including user manuals, SOPs, network diagrams, and configuration records.
- Support compliance with internal QA, safety standards, and IT/OT security policies.
Training & User Support
- Coordinate training for operators, technicians, and supervisors on Rockwell systems.
- Provide first-line support for automation queries before escalating to engineering or integrators.
- Ensure proper knowledge transfer and system adoption across the factory.
Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to optimize automation workflows and machine performance.
- Support integration between Rockwell systems and ERP/MES or factory production lines.
- Participate in future expansions, upgrades, and automation enhancement projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.3–5 years of experience in industrial automation or coordinating automation/SCADA projects.Hands-on or working knowledge of Rockwell Automation platforms, including:Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) FactoryTalk View SE / ME FactoryTalk HistorianFactoryTalk AssetCentre ,Rockwell MES (if applicable)Understanding of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, OPC-UA).Experience in FAT/SAT, commissioning, or OT system deployment is an advantage.Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills.Ability to work onsite at the factory and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Maintenance, IT).Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure during implementation phases.
