- Monitor and manage outstanding accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Contact clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment issues.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payment commitments, and customer communications in the system.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, finance, and customer service to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
- Prepare regular reports on collection status, aging analysis, and delinquency trends for management review.
- Recommend accounts for escalation, legal action, or write-off in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and relevant legal regulations during collection processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve collection rates and reduce bad debt.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by providing accurate receivables data and analysis.
Presentable Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.3 to 5 years of proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit control.Strong understanding of collection techniques, negotiation, and conflict resolution.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.Willingness to work full-time and on-site as required by the role.
