- Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
- Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability to provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and review inventory transactions, reconciliations, and valuations to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost accounting and inventory management.
- Conduct regular audits of cost records and systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports as requested by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years and up to 7 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar role.Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, methodologies, and best practices.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
