Backlog Ownership & Team Delivery 
• Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. 
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives with the dev team
. • Make sure dependencies, blockers, and risks are visible and managed early.
 • Own, refine, and prioritize the team backlog, ensuring clarity of requirements and alignment with company objectives. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
 • Act as the go-to link between business stakeholders, design, and development during delivery and post-delivery.
 • Ensure developers are involved early enough in discovery and scoping to reduce rework.
 • Work with Product Managers to keep documentation clear, structured, and accessible, a single source of truth for the team.
 • Work closely with Product Managers and business teams to scope work and clarify priorities. Delivery & Continuous Improvement 
• Track team progress and support accountability for delivery commitments.
 • Anticipate and resolve issues where possible, escalating when necessary.
 • Collect feedback from users, business teams, and developers to improve product quality and process
. • Help establish a structure around requirements gathering and checklists to catch risks early while also ensuring shipped products are tested and work correctly
Product Vision Support 
• Contribute insights into opportunities, pain points, and technical improvements.
 • Make sure the team’s work ties into Cashi’s broader goal of improving how money moves across Africa.
 • Work with Product Managers to align the team’s work with the broader product roadmap


Minimum 2–3 years in a Product Owner or Delivery role (Mobile Money or Fintech advantageous). • Strong experience with backlog management, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration. • Proven ability to balance detail with delivery in fast-paced environments. • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the product development lifecycle. • Excellent organisational skills; able to manage competing priorities and dependencies. • Clear written and verbal communicator, comfortable translating between business and technical teams. • Self-motivated, proactive, and confident individual comfortable pushing back to stakeholders and engineers • Curious problem-solver with strong business acumen and the ability to spot opportunities for improvement. • Demonstrated ability to support the successful delivery of multi-stakeholder projects.
