Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:

• Engage with business users to understand sales, distribution, pricing, billing, and order-to-cash processes.
• Document functional requirements, business workflows, and process gaps.
• Translate business requirements into SAP SD solutions, considering integration with other SAP modules.

2. SAP SD Configuration & Implementation:

• Configure SAP SD modules including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Credit Management, and Customer Master.
• Set up delivery processing, route determination, tax procedures, and condition techniques.
• Ensure proper integration with SAP MM, FICO, and other relevant modules.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementations or upgrades with SD module configuration.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Prepare and execute Unit Test Scripts, Integration Test Scripts, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support the technical team in troubleshooting issues and resolving defects during testing.
• Ensure SAP SD solutions meet business requirements and operate effectively.

4. Documentation & Training:

• Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and custom developments.
• Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions for SAP SD users.
• Maintain documentation of SAP SD configurations, workflows, and best practices.

5. Support & Continuous Improvement:

• Provide post-implementation support for SAP SD module issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize SAP SD functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent business processes across the organization.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes, sales, pricing, shipping, and billing in SAP.
• Experience with SAP configuration, customization, and integration with other modules.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and SAP best practices is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
• SAP SD Certification.
• Experience with SAP Fiori apps for SD processes.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as SAP BW or Analytics Cloud.
• Prior experience in large-scale SAP implementations, rollouts, or global projects.
• Knowledge of industry-specific sales and distribution processes (e.g., retail, manufacturing, or logistics).
