- Involved in sampling and production, contact with merchandisers and suppliers to do proper handovers to ensure all sample approvals, ensure customer fit, quality, testing, measurements, and fit requirements are met. Go through technical risk assessments and educate the factory on actions to be taken in production to avoid any issues for bulk production.
- Check the quality standard process both in sewing & finishing according to the customer standard.
- Able to ensure a quality process to ensure the right quality outputs as standard. Evaluate each & every process through quality assurance tools & techniques.
- Maintain file and keep record on rejection, button pull test, Statistical Process Control (SPC), in-process control, pre-final inspection, and final control.
- Conduct pre-production meeting for buyers and take all kinds of approval from key accounts.
- Setup, train, and monitor the QC and QI to ensure the quality of garments according to customers’ requirements.
- Check and confirm garments styling, workmanship quality, sewing trims, finishing trim, according to customer standard.
- Able to ensure product safety according to customer standards.
- Review daily quality reports and work with the factory quality team to find quick solutions and give required guidance.
- Make sure finishing quality standard follows the company’s quality process, including product ironing, checking system, and folding to ensure garment quality.
- Monitor cutting, sewing, and finishing for on-time shipment and follow up on quality-related reporting daily, ensuring accurate report submission.
- Follow up with the factory on label control, daily button pull test, SPC, Traffic Light System, Bingo Card, broken needle control procedure, metal detection, and CTPAT management.
- Organize performance and capability-wise manpower layout to ensure the right people are in the right jobs.
- Follow up on internal audits, pre-final and final audits, and take corrective action if required. Conduct in-line, pre-final, and final inspections considering shipment dates and document outcomes.
- Ensure that safety, quality, and compliance issues are integral parts of the job.
- Review daily issues occurring at the factories and work with the factory quality team to find quick solutions and give required guidance.
- Maintain quality SOP and be responsible for quality and technical-related issues arising in production, providing timely solutions to ensure on-time delivery and zero quality claims.
- Maintain and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to management.
- Conduct factory audits according to client requirements, local laws, and general working procedures.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the company.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or a related field.Proven track record of leading quality teams and managing quality systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of quality management standards such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.Experience conducting internal and external audits and managing compliance with regulatory requirements.Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive change initiatives.
