- Oversee daily operations of the production floor, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the production team to achieve optimal performance and maintain high morale.
- Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control checklists across all production stages, including cutting, edge banding, CNC drilling, assembly, and final inspection.
- Coordinate with planning, design, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of client specifications and approved shop drawings.
- Manage resource allocation, including materials, machinery, and manpower, to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and cost control.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility.
- Utilize ERP systems for production planning, traceability, and reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of premium materials and hardware.
- Address and resolve production issues promptly, maintaining consistent lead times and supporting after-sales service requirements.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a production management or manufacturing operations role, preferably within the furniture or woodworking industry.Proven track record of managing and developing production teams in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.Strong understanding of industrial-grade machinery, production workflows, and quality assurance practices.Hands-on experience with ERP systems for production planning and traceability.Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce SOPs and QC checklists.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working cross-functionally with design, engineering, and logistics teams.Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client requirements.
