- Procurement Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategy; maintain purchase plans; forecast demand with production and warehouse teams.
- Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; negotiate contracts and pricing; conduct performance reviews; maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Purchase Execution: Prepare and issue purchase orders; ensure compliance with policies and budgets; track order status and coordinate with warehouse, production, and finance teams.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor material costs and procurement expenses; suggest alternatives and negotiate to reduce costs; maintain records of pricing, vendor performance, and trends.
- Inventory Coordination: Maintain appropriate inventory levels; prevent shortages or overstocking; support regular audits and stock reconciliation.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure procurement complies with policies, contracts, and regulations; maintain accurate records and prepare management reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements and digital tools; identify new sourcing opportunities and cost optimization strategies; collaborate on Lean, 5S, and efficiency initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.7–10 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing/packaging.Strong knowledge of vendor management, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation.Experience with ERP systems and inventory coordination (preferred).Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.Knowledge of material specifications, quality standards, and logistics.Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.Strong communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
