The Commercial Director will be responsible for driving the company’s commercial strategy, expanding market share, and achieving sustainable revenue growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the paints, coatings, and chemical manufacturing industry, with proven experience in managing commercial teams, key accounts, and distribution channels.
- Develop and execute the company’s commercial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead the sales, and marketing teams to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities — both domestic and export.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with major clients, distributors, and project contractors.
- Oversee pricing, tenders, and contract negotiations to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Analyse market trends, competitor performance, and customer insights to guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to align product innovation with market needs.
- Ensure high standards of brand visibility, customer satisfaction, and after-sales support.
- Manage and develop high-performing commercial teams through coaching and performance management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (MBA preferred).Minimum 10–15 years of commercial experience in the paints, coatings, or chemical manufacturing sectors.Proven record in leading sales operations and achieving business growth targets.Strong knowledge of B2B & B2G sales, distribution networks, and industrial project markets.Experience in export markets (Middle East & Africa) is an advantage.Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Strategic thinker with hands-on commercial acumen and strong financial awareness.Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
