Sales Travel Consultant
Location: Cairo, Egypt
About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Sales Travel Consultant with strong knowledge of the UAE travel and tourism market to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will handle client inquiries, create customized travel packages, manage bookings through tourism systems, and contribute to achieving the company’s sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries and provide professional travel consultations.
- Design and price customized travel packages (inbound and outbound).
- Manage bookings through tourism systems such as Red Hawk, Amadeus, Galileo, and similar platforms.
- Promote and sell travel services, including flights, hotels, tours, and complete holiday packages.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners in the UAE market.
- Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and offers to maximize sales opportunities.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales within the travel and tourism industry.
- Strong experience and client network in the UAE market.
- Proficiency in using tourism and booking systems (Red Hawk, Amadeus, Galileo, etc.).
- Solid knowledge in building and pricing travel packages.
- Excellent communication and sales skills.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve results.
● 2-3 years of experience as a travel consultant, agent, or in a similar customer-facing travel role.● Proven ability to manage multiple bookings and client requests simultaneously in a fast-paced office environment.● Strong knowledge of global destinations, travel products, and industry reservation systems (e.g., GDS, Amadeus, Sabre).● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.● Ability to handle travel emergencies and resolve issues calmly and efficiently.● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and travel booking software.● Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and travel industry trends.● Sales-driven mindset with the ability to upsell and cross-sell travel services.● Willingness to work full-time, onsite in an office environment.
