- Oversee and coordinate all technical office activities related to civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines
- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and manage shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct quantity surveying and prepare bills of quantities for civil works.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose effective solutions to technical challenges.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout all project phases.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and reporting on project status.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.5 to 8 years of proven experience in a technical office civil engineering role Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Structural Detailing, and other relevant engineering software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and technical documentation. Familiarity with quantity surveying and cost estimation. Ability to work on-site in an office-based arrangement.
